Entry from: Interlaken, Switzerland Entry Title: “Thursday January 14- 17, 2010″ Entry: “Thursday, January 14, 2010 I left the house at 5:15 am for my initial flight from Lansing to Detroit. Capital City Airport at that hour is very quit and I had no wait for security, I was patted down and went through without problems. I arrived in Detroit and headed to the Skyclub for a two hour layover and then boarded for Atlanta. I was upgraded to first class and the flight went smooth. My first flight on a Delta video equipped plane and was able to watch live CNN and HGTV and the Food Network to pass the time. I had a three hour layover in Atlanta and went to the Skyclub to pass the time. Boarded on time for the flight to Zurich and had an exit row which gave plenty of leg room. I was seated next to a cute blond in her mid 20′s and found out that she was an UCLA grad now studying for her PhD at U of Arizona. She was majoring is some advanced chemical or physics degree and when asked what she would do with the PhD, she said she would probably work for the Defense Department. I didn’t ask any further questions. Dinner was served and I had some wine and when the flight attendant came back through she asked me if I wanted anything else, and I asked for some more wine.
