Beautiful Swiss Lakes: Thunersee boat trip

Our day trip on the Thunersee aboard the Bluemlisalp paddle boat with a quick stop in Interlaken. This steam paddle wheel boat was originally built in 1905 and restored in recent years to its old glory. It’s really beautiful inside as well with an old-fashioned looking restaurant, bar, lots of deck seating and of course the old engine which you can watch. Really much more fun to go across the lake on this ship rather than one of the new, modern boats. Facebook: www.facebook.com Twitter: twitter.com

Lovely Switzerland: Castles, mountains, lakes and stuff :)

All photos were taken by me and my boyfriend (except one which was made by a friend of mine). I’ve spent a year in Switzerland and I truly admire this country, it’s simply beautiful and very romantic. In this video you’ll find all kind of sceneries, to all tastes, but also swans and flowers, cathedrals and panoramic views. I’ve chosen the best photos we’ve made in the following places and towns: Lausanne, Geneve, Zurich, Montreux, Vevey, Chateau de Chillon (Castel of Chillon), Chateau de Grandson (Castle of Grandson). This video is very personal, hope you’ll like it. Music: Theme from “Picnic” by Chet Atkins

Switzerland – History, Mountains and Lakes

A trip across western Switzerland – including Basel, Bern, Interlaken and Jungfrau, Lausanne, Lake Léman, Chillon and Geneve. Video recorded on mazely’s trip, on winter 2007. Soundratrack by mazely – a Brazilian who’s not used to -9ºC (15ºF), composed in June 2007. Originally in Portuguese. ~~~~ I’d like to thank my wife and the Korean guy who took my picture with the Jungfrau Peak (I’ll never know his name). And also thanks to Mike Shiva. My last “thank you” to the kind Portuguese waiter at Olympia restaurant, at Continental hotel – Lausanne (the city I liked the most). He gave me an unforgettable lesson about fondues – essential!
