@sumtymzwhy I was going to try to write something clever & insighful about this song and their Classic 7 albums, but I can’t put it any? better than you did here. I hear you, and I hear them. Sometimes we forget it all in our day-to-day life but it’s nice to get re-grounded periodically…courtesy of a good dose of the Moodies

Mikes understanding of the nature of physics, meta, and quantum, the properties of energy, its behaviors, manipulating them, and they us… I’d propose the word “genius, yet something more than calculation, that transcends the boundaries of logic, describes his gifts. He’s coming from the place where 1+1 is always one, and the time is always “now”. His finely tuned center of balance allows him to act? as a threshold, through which light shines through. ; )

A psycho-acoustics demonstration by Michael Pinder in 1968. I perceive more than mere stereo panning going on. After? dry sound pans hard left to right, and perhaps a bit of doppler shift as reverb levels increase and volume decrease. The brains calculations strongly suggest that something just flew directly towards you, turned 180 degrees very close, and flew back in the direction it came from. At the least vol, and highest verb, a hard pan back, vol. – rev. levels reverse as it returns.

@browncoats4ever Definitly, LPs like that one was a real trip and the resason why our generation can enjoy a lot of the new cosmic conspirancies without believing many of them but have a good time just listening to fine music since we’ve already done the trips we dream of. Well, this musical video clip is quite a fantastic revelation as you suggest with all those simple sound effects to blow our heads to the universe, thinking is the best way to travel! The Moody Blues & it’s? own magic tarpet!

What truly amazes me? is how insightful this song is. He’s right, you know, “Thinking IS The Best Way To Travel”… who needs drugs with this? Listen to the lyrics and realize the cutting edge science he was writing about. Some might have thought Mike to be “out there” but he was just really “tuned in”.
